When the Scag Power Equipment Midwest Truck Tour travels back to Madison International Speedway on Friday June 28th, it will be their second race at Wisconsin’s fastest half mile out of the first three to start the season. Practice is set to begin at 4:45pm with qualifying at 6:08. Racing action will get underway at 7:30pm
Wood Building Foundation Towards A Title
Jerry Wood has started off the season as good as you can get by capturing both of the previous races. Wood won at MIS back on May 5th, followed that up with a victory at Veteran’s Raceway Park on May 31st. Wood is looking for the hat trick at Madison and to pad his lead in the points.
Heading into the event at MIS Jerry Wood has a 32 point lead over Natalie Decker. Decker is looking to improve upon her second place finish to Jerry Wood from the first race at MIS. John Wood is just 4 points behind Decker in third place. For the full points standings, go to http://arcamidwesttour.com/truck-standings/
ARCAfest Next Up For Trucks
After the Madison event wraps up, the next event for the Scag Power Equipment Midwest Truck Tour will be ARCAfest at the Milwaukee Mile on Monday July 8th and Tuesday July 9th. The Trucks will be looking to add to the legacy of the legendary oval as part of ARCAfest. Dann Barber is the defending race winner at the Mile.
