May 12, 2014 – With names like Majeski, Weinkauf, Holzhausen, Mackesy, Sauter, and many more on the expected entry list, this Saturday night’s ARCA Midwest Tour presented by Scag Power Equipment’s Cabin Fever 100 is sure to be one of the hottest races on this season’s circuit.
State Park Speedway is a track that several top ARCA Midwest Tour regulars also call home, so to be able to win such a huge event against a top field of drivers and in front of family and friends would be, as Chris Weinkauf put it, “the highlight of my career.”
“Just like any Midwest Tour event it is extremely hard to win, but especially here because you have the locals to go up against and they are just as strong at the Tour guys,” he added.
State Park Speedway has gone through some great improvements over the last few years, which has only made the competitive nature of the track that much better. With two grooves of racing, fans are sure to see some great side-by-side battles throughout the 100 lap event.
Qualifying begins at 4:00pm with racing to follow at 6:00pm. For complete event details log on to arcamidwesttour.com.
